Boy in relationship assaulting what can i do

I have been in a relationship for 4 years and I have lived in for 2 years. I have been physically assaulted by the man multiple times. Now he wants to file a case against me saying I have mentally harassed him. Can he drag me to court?will I be at fault? Plus I want to prove I have been assaulted physically are the photographs enough to prove?
You may be in a Live-in relation ship with a man. This is a question apart and your main grievance is that you are assaulted by a person and over and above that you are threatened by him with an action against you for mental harassment. If you are physically assaulted you have every right to lodge a police complaint against the said person and it it further better if you have taken a wound certificate from the hospital especially the govt. hospital for having treated for wounds caused by assault. However, limitation matters for lodging complaint and do it as soon as possible.
