Advice when grandfather want to sell property without father's consent

My grandfather and my father earned some money with farming,with that money my grandfather purchased (money earned by my father and grandfathet) 3acres of land.now my grandfather want to sell that property without my father and my concent...can we put case against my grandfather.

Dear,

If your grandfather purchased land and the property is registered on his name, it is his self acquired property and during his life time, he can sell the same to any person he wishes to and he need not to take consent either from you or your father to sell the same. Thus, you or your father cannot put up a case against him.

Hi
You can file a case against your grand father and restrain him from selling the property by claiming that the 3 acres of land is undivided hindu family property formed by your grand father and father and claim them as Joint properties.
Also if you can show to the court that the monies for purchase of agricultural lands was derived by joint efforts and income, you can win your case.
