stay positive as it's a family issue. if situation is out of control send him a legal notice to forbid or better change his place or location if this can be possible. try to stay calm in all possible ways and find out his workable interest or hobby which he likes. work accordingly.

If your 21-year-old son is mentally harassing you, demanding money, and behaving abusively: 1. Eviction – If he is living in your self-acquired house, you can legally evict him through a civil suit or by filing before the SDM under local maintenance rules. 2. Police Complaint – File a complaint for abuse, threats, or harassment under IPC (Sections 504, 506). 3. DV Act – The mother can file a Domestic Violence case for emotional abuse. 4. Senior Citizen Act (if aged 60+) – You can approach the Maintenance Tribunal for eviction and protection. 5. Counseling – Consider legal aid or mediation through DLSA.

In such a case it is better to send your son to counselling. However if the issue is very serious then legal action can be taken against your son as he is an adult. You can approach Mahila thana and the son can be counselled by the police officials and mediation can take place before police. It will be beneficial.
