A girl was married when she was 16(child marriage) and now she is 20. She is in love with my friend. My friend ran with her and married. She is stating that she was forcefully married with guy 4 years ago. The girl husband has filed Kidnap, missing case against my friend

Is FIR registered against your friend? if yes first you need to apply for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest from police. Then we can apply for quashing of FIR and FIR will be quashed as it was with the consent.

If there is a existing marriage, even though it was allegedly forced, a second marriage would be void under law. She will have to get the first marriage annulled or seek divorce from the first husband to contract marriage again
