2nd wife;step mother doing wrong

01-May-2025 (In Family Law)
2nd wife of maternal uncle had physically hurted grandmother aged 70+ which maternal uncle unintentionally told us on a recorded call but these was revealed 2-3 months after her granny's death. Step-mother also puts mental pressure on daughter aged 10 and she too is afraid to speak out truth. Maternal uncle is afraid of her and doesn't want to take action. What legal action we can take?

The situation involves serious allegations of elder abuse, physical assault, and mental harassment of a minor. Based on the details shared, you may have grounds to initiate criminal action under relevant sections of the IPC for assault and cruelty, as well as seek protection for the minor under child welfare laws. It’s also possible to explore remedies under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. Since multiple legal aspects are involved, I recommend scheduling a detailed consultation to assess all evidence (including the recorded call) and plan appropriate legal action. Please feel free to connect for further assistance.

Well, if you have that Recorded Call still with you, then, it can act as an evidence of the Physical Hurt inflicted by the second wife of your maternal uncle, which evidence can send her behind bars, which can be admitted before Court.
