Firstly issue for marriage certificate.
And then once issued then take your wife to police station and tell her to give a statement that the marring you was her choice also and no forcefully act has been done by me.
Both are adults and you can take your life’s decisions as per yourself.

If you have performed the marriage under special marriage act. It means your marriage is legal, hence the society should not interfere still if anyone from the vicinity or community is trying to Defame you. You can take criminal action against them.
For a start if there is any harassment from the community people you can make a police complaint too.
