Cancellation of complaint made in NCW
14-Aug-2023 (In Domestic Violence Law)
I have submitted a complaint against someone for mental harrashment in NCW which has been forwarded to SSP mohali for further action. But now i want to withdraw it as it has been resolved mutually. I have emailed to NCW as well as SSP mohali. Is this enough to get a complaint cancelled?? I don't want police to take any action. Please suggest me what to do?
If you sorted out matter with mutual understanding just intimation is enough until and unless they registered a FIR.
Even if FIR registered then you can make statement before Hon'ble Court if matter is compound able.

only email is not enough, rather you will have to approach ssp mohali and record your statement of withdrawal the complaint, otherwise it will remain pending against that very person, and you will be called by police.
