What is the Validity of agreement signed but not yet registered?

Hi, If I sign a business assignment agreement which states that I am selling my business to another party , and they will pay me the sum of X amount upon opening current account. Does this agreement has any stand in the court? since this is not yet registered or notarised.. Also in case this stands in the court - can I show my bank transactions to show that I have not received any X amount as mentioned in that agreement ?
Kindly clarify what document are you referring to. Validity of the documents depends from agreement to agreement. Some Documents need not be registered and some are very important to be registered. so kindly provide requisite details of the following
