What is the procedure to get a birth certificate

I was born in military hospital in pathankot and i have a birth certificate given by the hospital. But in order to make passport i need one from municipal corporation. So what is the procedure to get a birth certificate. And also now i live in jamnagar
Unfortunately, you have to go to Pathankot Municipality and contact Birth Registration Department of Pathankot Municipality. Only they can give you a proper Valid Birth Certificate.
Also you can contact Jamnagar Municipal Corporation and inquire if they give you the same based on your Hospital's Birth Certificate.
