What is the procedure for verification of visa

How and from where should i Verify the VISA issued by Indian Embassy in US if the said VISA is presented in Court of law as a evidence of the person is alive. (Non certified copy) VISA was issued to an Indian origin person who had obtained the US citizen ship age 88 approx and is not able to travel to India due to health issues as per his son's statement.
You will have to apply for a certified copy of the visa in the Indian embassy in USA. or you can ask the opposite party to show a proof/evidence that the concerned 88 year old person is still alive.
