What documents are required to apply for sub meter?

06-Jan-2023 (In Documentation Law)

I live in my parental owned G+1 HOUSE in Barasat. At present there is one domestic electric meter in the name of my father but I want to have another in my name. the wbsedcl staff told me it's not possible without an affidavit and instead go for a sub-meter but I don't want a sub-meter.My parents have no-objection too. Please advice what are the legal steps I need to take? Thanks& regards.

This is not a legal question and has no legal implications
However the same can be done by obtaining a No Objection certificate from your parents and by applying for a separate meter with the department
It will take a lot of time and money and is a useless practise
