Want to change daughter's name after second marriage

my native is tamilnadu, currently in bangalore I got divorce in 2014 and remarried Now I want to change my daughter initial to my new husband name. Is it possible?
It is possible, only if your current husband adopts your daughter. You will have to get a NOC from your previous husband so that your current husband can legally adopt her and after that only you can publish about the name change in the Gazette and make the changes in the other related documents.

Hello, Yes you can change the initial of your daughter there is no bar for that.. buton the place of name of father in every documents will be is of your ex husband( her biological father ) only that cant be changed with new father name.,

You cannot change the initial of your daughter name as the biological father of the child remains forever. Even by filing a suit the court cannot declare the step father as biological father in birth certificate as you will have to change the name in entire records. Your present husband will remain as step father to your daughter.
