Want marriage to be registered before social marriage but same date

We are having a social wedding in Kolkata on 17th Feb but we wanted to complete the marriage registration process a few days before that so we get the certificate quickly, since we will be leaving Kolkata 2 days after the wedding.The registration is supposed to happen on 14th of Feb.Is it possible to complete the formalities on 14th but have the date of marriage mentioned in the certificate as 17th?Our registrar is saying the official date will be 14th since we are signing on that day.We really want the date on the certificate to be the same as our social wedding.Is there any way to do that?
You are going to get married and I presume you are more than 21 but putting questions like a primary school child.
Are you not understanding that you getting your MARRIAGE registered without getting married?
You are not married till 17 th and want registration of such an event which has not taken place as yet on 14th?
Legally not possible.
