Want housing loan for a property what all documents are required

My parents are in sound health and have a small property which was earned by them with a house on the ground floor. I intend to build a house on its first floor to live with my family. I have to take a housing loan for the construction. My parents and my only married sister are heartily willing to cooperate with me. What are the legal documentations to be done to construct the house. Is it necessary for my parents to register the property in my name to get the housing loan and the new plan approved. Please help me with assistance on subject
