Received show cause notice from passport office for not being present

Dear Sir, I'm applied a fresh passport through online and thereafter go to PSK Kolkata & complete of all process regarding passport, then i leave my native home for job purpose & the same time police verification came into my home & they are not found me , so they report to passport office & passport office issue a show cause notice on me, kindly help how can I solve the problem & get my passport.. Please help..... Thanks & Regards
You need to be present at the address mentioned in the passport at the time of police verification. You can reply to the sow cause notice and apply for a fresh verification process.
