what is the procedure to correct spelling mistake on leaving certificate from primary school to Degree. correction at sub caste column.
For correction you can simply make an affidavit showing previous spelling and correct spelling or can make a Gazette of correct name at the respective office at Gazette officer and Publish in local newspapers.

Approach office of Gazette notification.....in Mumbai it is at Charni Road.... fill form..affidavit....give public notice....ahnd produce the same before the authorities want here you want your name to be corrected.

Make a written application to the relevant authority that has issued you the certificate, for rectification of the certificate as regards the spelling mistake. You will have to make such application to all the authorities who have issued the certificates.
