Ownership of property given by git deed in case brother dies

I given my property to my brother as a gift last year he is died is the ownership return back to me or not ?

The property will not return back you only because he died. You have not mentioned whether he has already effected mutation of property into his name etc.a registered document will not return to you only because he died.

Does he have any legal heirs other than you? If yes then Ownership will not return back to you, it will devolve upon his legal heirs. If he doesn't have any other legal heirs other than you then it will come back to you.

Hai.

It wont come back automatically. Needs to know whether he is a bachelor, who r his legal heirs. Had he executed any deed intendin to tranfer his proeprty or had he entrusted like wise.
