Sir/Madam, I want to know whether Jain come under O.B.C. for CENTRAL JOBS? if yes which caste comes so?
Jains have been classified as Religious Minority Group by the Govt. of India. Being a minority you do not get reservation or other usual benefits given to the Reserved Category. However, the minority community is allowed to preach its religion in the schools set up by it and they are allowed to have reservation for students of their religion in their educational institutions. Additionally, there are various schemes like scholarships, concessional loans etc. that help students of the minority community financially.
