Name changed is it necessary to change signature on every document
19-Apr-2023 (In Documentation Law)
actually before marriage my name is nitu sharma now I got married and in marriage certificate my name is nitu rana because my husband puts rana but I didn't change my signature on marriage certificate. is this necessary to change signature in every document?
Your signature is but an identifier used by an organization to identity if the document(s) assented thereto is genuine.
You don't have a specific signature that can be said to be the one you're required to use everywhere; your signature may vary with the organization you're dealing with. The obvious restriction being that you are required to use the signature given before.
The procedure to change your signature in your dealings with the authority would depend on the procedure of the organization in this respect. Some may require a simple declaration on a stamp-paper of requisite amount, irrespective of the signature present on documents submitted before.
