Dear sir, my daughter is 5 years old now i want change her name so what is the procedure and how much time will take
For change of name you have to publish a notice in government gazette stating her old name and new name
This procedure is also available online
then a public notice in the local newspapers declaring your daughter's name as per govt gazette
take all these documents and update the records of education department also ration card and other municipal documents if created
