Hi, you can apply and obtain certified copies of the original documents from the jurisdictional sub-registrar office. Also file a complaint before the jurisdictional police station based on fire accident and get an endorsement from police, and give public notice on two news papers stating the same and keep all safely. Please feel free to contact me for further assistance, hope to serve you soon..
Thank you

Dear Querist,
You can give a paper publication in one English and a vernacular language depending upon the locality where u r staying, stating that the sale deed dated so and so registered as doc.no.so and so has been lost/destroyed in the fire and subsequently you can apply for a certified copy of the doc.in the concerned jurisdiction and treat that as the original. You must keep the copy of paper publication until u sell the property.

Ans: You may not get the originals as per your statement that the same has been burnt in fire. you may get the certified copies of the sale deed, mother deed. further you can take copies of RTC or Khatha Certificate and Extract from the concerned department. That would be sufficient proof of your ownership of the property.
