Husband and wife with different caste what will be our child's caste

We did inter cast marriage both the castes are different mine and my wife's now I have to apply for my children's caste certificate what caste will my children will get mine or my wife's?
The child will have the fathers caste. Whatever the caste is of father on that basis and the child will be given caste certificate
