How to rectify father's name in legal documents

All my documents(class x to PG) have father name as XYZ while his real name is ABC.i can proceed for passport application .but worried if in future if i want to call my father abroad there arises issue if any or in any other case.How should i solve this difference in surname before applying for passport?

You must file a civil suit for rectification of your father name by showing all the boards as opposite parties for rectification of name of your father. Court will direct the boards to rectify the name of your father and issue modified marks list or you can file a writ petition in the concerned High Court for rectification of name of your father`s name. You can choose either of ways. You must engage an expert advocate for necessary steps to be taken. After rectification of name of your father, you can apply for passport, otherwise you will face hardship in future.
