A Family Lineage Affidavit proves your father’s caste by linking him to a paternal relative’s caste certificate. It is submitted to the Executive Magistrate for verification before applying Documents needed : 1. Your father's ID proof and address proof 2. Paternal relative's caste certificate copy 3. Proof of relation between your father and the relative — like Vanshavali, Ration Card, or Panchayat Praman Patra 4. Affidavit on ₹10 or ₹20 stamp paper stating the family lineage and caste details Process you have to follow Draft the affidavit mentioning complete family tree showing relation with the caste certificate holder. Get it notarized, then submit to Executive Magistrate office in Ranchi for attestation. Once attested, attach it with your father's caste certificate application at the local Block Office. it's take 7 - 15 day's to complete this process
