You can submit an Affidavit stating the reason of the difference to the respective authorities as and when required, and that should ensure the acceptance of your documents when you apply for a Government job be it in railway or any other sector. Every work place be it public, private or Government, asks for photograph and copy of id proofs. Even if names on school and college documents are different, photograph will be a good enough proof to verify that both the persons are one and the same. Let me make it more clear with an example.

Your Full Name: Chetan Kumar Jhade
Surname: Jhade
Given Names: Chetan Jhade
First Name: Chetan
Middle Name: Kumar

The above name can be written in the following ways:

Chetan Kumar Jhade
Chetan K. Jhade

When referring to the above person, all the above name formats are valid.

I recommend you to use full name on all documents as that will ensure uniformity.
