Delayed Birth Certificate Registration

We haven't registrated the birth certificate for my child almost 25 years completed need to know the registration process

You can still register a birth after 25 years, but it requires a Delayed Birth Registration process:
1. Apply at local municipal office (where birth occurred).
2. Submit these documents:
Affidavit explaining the delay.
Proof of birth (hospital record, school record, passport, etc.).
Parents’ identity/address proof.
Witness statements (optional but helpful).
3. Magistrate Order (First Class Judicial Magistrate): Usually required for delays over 1 year. Apply under Section 13(3) of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1969.
4. After approval, registrar will issue the birth certificate.
