Clarifications on signature of witnesses on an undertaking
05-Dec-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Regarding the undertaking a pensioner has to give to a bank allowing them to deduct any excess credit- it has to be signed by two witness also. Since I don't know any one here, who can I approach for this, a public notary maybe?
A witness is required only for the purpose of establishing the identity of the person signing a document. He is not responsible for the contents of the document. A notarized document is perfectly valid in law.
