Change name in birth certificate of the son

I wnt change my son birth certificate's mother name I visited to my near by nagar Palika but they said no it's possible so can you suggest me how to change my name my son's birth certificate in this certificate mother name is x but I wnt putt the name Y. Y is my real name and X also my name but I want now Y name in that certificate coz I have all I'd s only Y name that's y I need to change that' name it is possible
If 'Y' is your actual name and the same appears in all your documents, then you will require to make affidavit and also a newspaper publication that 'X' and 'Y' is the same person. Further also if the Palika require some additional documents you will require to submit the same.
