Can I get wife's name deleted from passport without divorce

Me and my wife have marital discord. And, are leaving separately for the last 10 years in different cities. My passport is up for renewal now. I want to delete her name from my passport. It is possible to remove her name, without applying for a divorce? Or can I delete using any prescribed affidavits.
