Can I get the registry of my property in joint name.

I bought a house and got it registered in bangalore in my name as my wife was not available. i want to add the name of my wife now and want to get it in joint names. is it possible to get the property in joint names now? how can i get it done?
You need to execute a gift deed with respect to half of the share in your property in favour of your wife so that she will become owner of half of your property. But you cannot include her name in the Sale Deed which is already registered in your name. Once the gift deed is executed then her name is also reflected in the EC that she is also a owner of half of your property.
