Can a person hold two intermediate degrees legally

Hi, My friend had given his intermediate from CBSE in 2016 and he was not satisfied with the result, he again gave intermediate exam from state board in 2017 and secured good percentage, now he is using his 2017 result everywhere for getting the admission, is it legal for him to hold two intermediate degree ?? Thanks & Regards
Hi, the latter degree of the same class which your friend has cleared shall be valid and he can project the same for all academic purposes. The latter degree shall supersede the earlier degree of the same class.

One can have any number of degrees or other qualifications not only by one educational authority but also through several such authorities and Universities
