Buyer refusing to transfer car in his name, what can be done ?

Hello Sir, Recently I sold my car to an individual and he promised me that car will be transferred to his name within a month.But it's more than 2 months and he hasn't transferred the ownership.When I asked him,he's saying that he already initiated the process but refusing to share any proof of it ..What should I do ?

Ans: After selling the car you should send the sale receipt and other documents pertaining to the sale to the RTO intimating the sale with a covering letter and acknowledgement. that will take care of all the formalities as per law. this has to be done within 15 days of sale as per law.
