Bought a property in an unauthorized colony. How get it registered?

I bought a property in Narela. It is a 300 sq yd flat in an unauthorized colony property in Delhi. I have a GPA with respect to that property. I want to make sure that my right over that property remains strong and how can i get it registered in my name?
If you have proper documents to show your right over the property then there is not much to worry about.
For cautionary purposes, you can put a lock on the property and in case of any trespassing you can file a criminal complaint.
Also, you can appoint a care taker of the property till the time you come in the possession of it.
