Hi...i am from haryana and need to ask about birth certificate. If i got birth certificate of my newborn without name then what is the procedure for adding the name and how much time it will take to add the name so that i need to apply for my baby passport and visa as my husband stays out of india. So its necessary to add the name of child in birth certificate as soon as possible?
Yes. . It is necessary to add the name of your child in his birth certificate asap. For this, you have a period of 90 days from the date of his birth. Within these 90 days you can approach the office of birth registrar and ask him to add the name of your child in his birth certificate.
