Would there be any stamp duty for mutual divorce amount.

I would give approx. Rs10 Lac while going through mutual divorce with my wife. How to present this amount in the court and would there be any stamp duty for the same?

No stamp duty in divorce case where divorce by mutual consent but some other expenses are given so you contact any advocate personally he told you what are expenses and some change are liyble he give you proper advice because you pay his advice fee ok

There would be no stamp duty payable on the amount paid as alimony in divorce suit. The payment depends upon the mutual terms and before the court. The court pays the amount and pass order with details in the presence of both parties.

Amount would be presented through draft or cheque of 5 lac each 1 one when draft of divorce is presented second when order for divorce is granted. No stamp duty have to paid. Only court fee and lawyer fee have to be paid.

If you pay 10 lakh then court fees would be 8 percent and you would have to pay it 80000 rs plus in addition tds would be differently imposed but there is a way to quash the same and overlooked for that you can contact me

Their is no stamp duty to be given to court although you can get a notice from income tax office in future about the money but if you are showing this money from your legitimate income you won't have to worry about
