Woman Lives in wit me in the nature of marriage
01-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I and my fiancee were in a live-in relationship, in the nature of marriage for one year where we stayed as a married couple. We also had all sorts of physical relationships as there was the promise of marriage. I can prove everything. Both of our families agreed as we were suitable for each other. Just one month before the marriage, suddenly they denied marriage without any reason. What can I do?
Can I claim restitution of the relationship? Is this a breach of promise of marriage/ trust?
Is this law valid for me?
"Section 494 of the I.P.C be suitably amended to the effect that if the
man and woman were living together as husband and wife for a
reasonable long period the man shall be deemed to have married the
woman according to the customary rites of either party."
Madam
I read your message and giving you this suggestion superficially as because I am not going through with all your matter personally
I am suggesting you to lodge FIR against him as because he attracted section 375/376 of the Indian Penal Code as promised to marriage for taking physical relationships and after that he refused then obviously he is subjected to punish in accordance with law
