Wife's anger issues, she hits me and today her sister hit me too

My wife has a history of hitting me and poor anger management issues. We have a 9 month old baby. Today the anger and beating also extended to other members of her family. My wife's sister too hit me. Today I couldn't tolerate her hitting me anymore and I hit her back. Thats when the others joined in as well. I was asked to get out of the house and I left my wife's parents house. What do I do in this situation? I have the audio recording of my wife's sister hitting me today.

Well, you immediately lodge a Police Complaint and get it converted into a FIR against your Sister and your Wife, before they lodge a FIR against you for committing Domestic Violence with your Wife and her Sister for forcing them to give your Dowry.

Hello Good Evening. To hitting someone is attract the section 358 of Indian penal code the punishment for this act is imprisonment and fine. But As your wife has the habit of hitting then it comes to life thread to you so you need to know the proper and relevant legal remedies
