Wife is threatening to file fake 498a case how can i safeguard myself

I am married since last three years and have a kid who is 1.5 yrs old as of now. I had to loose job as job pressure . After that my wife is continuously torturing me to fullfill her needs more than what she used to live in . She and her family have abused me many times and threatens me and my family for dowry act and harassment. How is this matter can be handled freom a husband s end. Pls suggest to safeguard myself.
