If you have proofs of her relationship with other person then keep that intact and use it at an appropriate time. For now you send a legal notice to her through your counsel calling upon her to stop blackmailing you or you would take legal action against her

Since your marriage was solemnized through the court, it remains legally valid even if your families were not informed and you never lived together. As the marriage broke down within a short period and you did not cohabit, you may file a petition for divorce under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act on grounds such as cheating, cruelty, or mental harassment. If your wife is blackmailing or threatening you with abortion-related documents, such conduct amounts to criminal intimidation under Section 503 of the IPC. You may lodge a police complaint or a non-cognizable (NC) report at your local police station and preserve all messages and evidence of such threats. The fact of abortion will not affect your divorce proceedings, but if she alleges that you forced her into it, that could create complications. Therefore, it is advisable to retain all conversations and records showing that the abortion was mutually decided.

Avoid reacting in anger or making counter-threats. Don't meet her alone if she is making threats it could later be misused against you. Communicate only through messages or in presence of witnesses, so there's a record. 2. Keep Proof Collect and save all evidence of blackmail or threats, such as: WhatsApp chats, texts, voice recordings, call logs, or emails. If possible, take screenshots and store them safely (email them to yourself or a trusted person). These can be vital if you need legal protection later.
