Wife filed a FIR in different state where she has never been at all

14-Apr-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Wife is living in State A and updated Aadhar card address in State B and filed FIR there. IO found that no such person is living in updated Aadhar Address and IO filed Final Report and Submitted to the Trial Court of State B. Also, Wife is not appearing to the Trial court in the hearing of Final Report. Can She file such FIR in different State? Based on the Final Report, I have filed 13A, Is She eligible for the Alimony? How much time does it take to get the divorce based on the Final Report?

You don't get divorced in such manner. For seeking divorce you need to file a Petition for the same in Family Court or the Court having jurisdiction for the same in your area. Feel free to contact me for seeking any further legal as regards the same.

FIR can be filed in any state.
It is unclear as to what facts in Final Report have led you to file divorce. Im assuming that the Final Report is in favour of wife.
Yes, she may claim alimony as well as monthly maintenance from you during the divorce case. However, at the hearing of interim maintenance, you will have to lay out your case so that very less or no maintenance is ordered by court against you.
