I understand your difficult situation. Your wife is using your desire to be with your daughter and her threats of legal action to control and manipulate you. Here's a step-by-step approach to consider: 1. Seek legal advice: Consult a lawyer specializing in family law to understand your rights and options. 2. Document everything: Keep records of all communication, threats, and demands made by your wife. 3. Don't give in to blackmail: Refrain from agreeing to her demands, as this may set a precedent for future extortion. 4. Focus on your daughter's well-being: If possible, try to establish a relationship with your daughter through regular visits or custody arrangements. 5. Consider mediation: Attempt to resolve the issue through mediation, emphasizing your desire to co-parent and provide for your daughter's well-being. 6. Prepare for legal proceedings: If necessary, be prepared to go to court to establish your rights as a father and protect your financial stability. 7. Explore legal options for divorce: Even if your wife refuses to divorce, you may be able to pursue legal separation or divorce proceedings. 8. Prioritize self-care: Don't forget to take care of your mental and emotional well-being throughout this challenging situation. Remember, you have rights as a father and a husband. Don't succumb to blackmail, and seek professional guidance to navigate this complex situation.
