Whatsapp Chat as Evidence in Court

Good Morning Sir, My wife filed false cases against me under section 313, 498A. I have Whatsapp chat between me and my wife for the whole period that we are together. The chat is on the Whatsapp Messenger itself. But the phones are changed over period of time because the older phones are not compatible for updated softwares. Now i do not have the phone where the original conversation took place, it took place 8 years back. Will the whatsapp messages on my Current phone is considered as evidence

WhatsApp conversation is stored in the cloud. So you need not have the old phone. lf you can see the conversation in your current mobile phone then that's enough. You may file it with an Affidavit and the Court may consider as evidence if it is a relevant to the case.
