What to do if wife is putting false charges on husband ?

My wife made wrong aalegation ang charges in police station....then police called me and sent us for counselling now my wife doing drama over there saying she eant to stay with me but i am not ready to take her back.even i missed secound counselling.what will be the impact if not attend the counselling and how can i defend my self.she also said we are beating her on daily which is comppleteyfalse
Dear Sir,
If you do not attend the counseling sessions, the police may upon the pressure of your wife and in-laws, register an FIR under Section 498A IPC and if they do that, you will be in trouble. Therefore, it is advised that you attend the counseling sessions and explain your version to the police along with proofs. If still the police registers FIR, take bail from the police station and thereafter, contest the case in the court after the police files charge sheet.
