What should I do to get divorce from husband & custody of 15yr old son

I am 47yrs old lady having 25yrs of married life my husband is having mental problem n l am unable to counterpart him physically so I am living at my fathers place. What would be steps to get rid of my husband?He is dangerous too for me n my son.Thanks
