What kind of paper quality for MOU in mutual divorce

07-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello I want to know what type of paper quality should be used for printing MOU (memorandum of understanding) in mutual divorce case. Is this print on normal A4 size paper or something else required for MOU and when will it get notarised?

there is no need for any special paper.
the MOU can be made and printed on a normal A4 size paper and you can buy the stamp paper once the terms and conditions of the MOU have been finalised.
there is no specific time period as to when one needs to get the MOU notarised. once the parties have gone through the contents of the MOU and have signed the same they can get it notarised

Hi
Any MOU entered without a court order is not valid and illegal. To get a mutual divorce, you need to approach the court with a petition for mutual divorce and get a decree of divorce. Feel free to get in touch for further discussions.

You can get MOU drafted on any normal A4 sheet.
No special paper is required.
If it is an MOU between parties there is no need to get it notarized. Self attestation is sufficient evidence of executing a MOU.
once MOU is signed you can ask advocate to draft petition for divorce through mutual consent.

It’s better for you to print it in A4 size because nowadays it’s a universal size even in courts. And the paper quality doesn’t matter but it should be enough to handle any wear & tear. And it should also be compulsorily be notarised with the registered notary public. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
