In Indian law, CRP stands for Civil Revision Petition it's basically a legal tool used to challenge or review orders made by lower civil courts. If someone feels a lower court made an error, they can file a CRP in a higher court, usually the High Court, asking it to revise or correct that order.

On the other hand, CP usually means Civil Petition, which is a type of case filed in High Courts related to civil matters. For instance, courts like the Karnataka High Court use ?CP? to label these civil petitions. So, CRP is about revising existing orders, while CP refers to original civil petitions filed directly in High Courts.
