If you are going g for mutual divorce, it depends on both the parties about alimony, and other things. Court will never interfere in the issues of both parties when they are going for a mutual divorce.

Before filing the mutual consent, you ask your husband to pay the permanent alimony for which you demand. It is also for your future maintenance. Unless he pas, don't sing on the mutual divorce petition.it is your right to demand for your future alimony .

Dear Client,
You have right to claim maintenance from your husband till you do not have second marriage even though you got order of divorce from your husband. In case you opt to obtain divorce by filing petition under mutual consent you must opt for drafting a compromise decree stating clearly the terms and conditions for claiming maintenance. Till all rights like future maintenance and other rights are settled you don`t give your consent for divorce. You both must come to an understanding before filing petition for grant of divorce under mutual consent. Engage an expert advocate and take expert legal advise and thereafter file a petition for order of divorce under mutual consent. Now you are not employed, so you can claim maintenance from your husband. You have no finance support and think about your future. You will not be maintained by anybody if you give consent for divorce. You first file a petition for maintenance, why do you give consent for divorce. It is better not to give consent for divorce till the maintenance is settled.
