We sent a legal notice seeking a mutual divorce or warning of a contested divorce based on her cruel

18-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We sent a legal notice seeking a mutual divorce or warning of a contested divorce based on her cruelty. After 35 days, we filed for divorce citing cruelty in the Kukatpally court. Soon after, my wife filed for divorce and a maintenance case in the Rangareddy court. n1) Can we request a stay on the Rangareddy divorce case, asserting our earlier legal proceedings?n2) How will the courts handle these two separate divorce cases? n3) I've heard my petition won't be useful since my wife filed first ?

courts will call both the parties and counsels to not press the one case. if both the contents of case are similar it is up to the parties to decide which case has to be closed. infacf the court even checks which was filed first. if your wife case was filed earlier than you the her case will be there and your case needs to be closed.
