Wanted to take divorce after 3 months of marriage ,is it possible.....

After 2 months of my marriage I realized that we have thought process difference, my marriage expectations are not meeting and because of that we had lots of fights, arguments hence I wanted to take divorce. She was earning but she left the Job without consulting. Do I have to pay alimony and how much?

Well, you cannot seek Divorce after two months of Marriage. You guys have to live separately from each other, without engaging in sex, for a year at least, then, you guys will become eligible to file for a Mutual Divorce Petition before before the concerned Family Court, if you guys have mutually decided to file such Petition for seeking mutual Divorce willingly.

Divorce petition cannot be filed before completing one year of marriage. Even if it is mutual Divorce, you have to complete atleast one year of marriage. If it is contested divorce, you mostly will have to pay maintenance, it depends on case to case basis and the amount of alimony depends on your income, your wife's living status, etc. If it is uncontested divorce, then the alimony amount can be mutually decided.
