Want to live separate from husband as he is harassing me physically

I am a European woman married to a Hindu men since 23 April 2012. We have 2 daughters, one with 5 years and another with 3 years. I have been abused at several levels in this relationship and now I have no money to even pay a lawyer that can defend my cause. How can I get financial support for a layer and to move from living with him with legal protection? Thank you for your kind support.
Please tell me where you live. Then only could decide what will be the legal way to proceed.Mony will not be a problem. I shall try to advice you. What is your job and husband's job.You will be justified to live separately if you are being harrased. What type of marriage you under went?

From your question it is not clear whether your marriage is registered or not.If it is under the special marriage act you can approach the family court for the relief.If you are financially weak you can approach the legal aid centre for the assistance. You can file the criminal against him too.

Being an European women most of the rights available for indian women are alien for u. yet u are eligible for getting maintenance for ur minor children. Also protection from harassment and other benefits are available from competent courts.
